Cranford Group Appoint New Sales & Marketing Director To Drive Cloud Growth

2018 was certainly a busy year for us at Cranford as we approach almost a decade in business.

It has seen:

  • Unprecedented levels of growth through all our business areas.
  • Publication in the 2nd VeriSM Professional book commenting on the role of the C suite in resourcing. The digital age and the future of the workplace.
  • The launch of our Cloud Base product providing flexible assured Cloud resource to organisations
  • The acceleration of Gov Assure our Public Sector focused resourcing model. This has been developed to align our offering with our inclusion on the G Cloud and DOS 3 procurement frameworks.
  • A branding and website refresh to more accurately reflect our business.

As 2019 starts with earnest across our organisation,  we are pleased to announce a new appointment to our senior management team. 

We have exciting plans of growth alongside increased business levels. With further recruitment plans for the year, we welcome Rachel Mcelroy. She will be taking up a new role as Sales and Marketing Director. 

Rachel has over 5 years experience in marketing in the IT Service Management and Technology sectors as a freelancer. She has already completed 2 years working with us, as an external business resource. 

With 20 years experience in Sales and Marketing, she has recently been the the marketing lead for VeriSM. This approach looks at utilising Service Management in the digital age. It can be implemented across the whole organisation for better customer outcomes, not just for the benefit of the IT department.

This role alongside running her own company has involved working with a global network of industry influencers and thought leaders across the industry. 

David Bentley, Managing Director commented “ It is the perfect time to strengthen our Sales and Marketing operation in line with the organisational goals we have for the future. 

Rachel will be responsible for helping deliver a number of key initiatives this year. These include our market leading product and resource offerings, the research, analysis and production of our Cloud Leadership white paper which will be published in the 2nd quarter of 2019, an updated website, and our marketing and strategic plans for the year as we grow our Public Sector and Cloud offering. 

Having been impressed by her professional, hard working approach, great ideas and the ability to deliver on our objectives I am delighted to welcome her full time into our team. 

She has already shown she shares our core values and commitment to really make a difference to the people and organisations we work in partnership with.” 

Rachel concluded “  I am very excited to join Cranford Group at such a pivotal time in their history and to become part of such an impressive team of people. In a technology led workplace, people are still the most important part of our infrastructure. They will be the ones to enable us to realise our goals. One of my guiding principles has always been the desire to form strong relationships and collaborations that are mutually beneficial. I sincereley look forward to strengthening and building on these at Cranford Group.”
