Cranford Group and IFDC announce partnership to align VeriSM™ and resourcing18th January, 2019
The IFDC and Cranford Group are delighted to announce they have signed a partnership agreement relating to VeriSM, the new Service Management approach for the Digital age developed by the IFDC.
As a specialist Cloud Architecture, DevOps and IT and Service Management resource provider with our foundations firmly built around ITSM the concepts around VeriSM are very much aligned with the organisations we work with.
Service Management tools, techniques and approaches can be used across the whole organisation in a flexible way. This reflects the need for a modern digital organisation to be competitively agile and fluid, but also to operate with control.
Cranford group have contributed to both VeriSM publications. In the 2nd book “Unwrapped and Applied” we provide an extensive overview and commentary based on our own experiences of sourcing from CEO to staff looking at the employment marketplace, employment, digital strategy, salary expectations in the C suite, leadership and skills required for digital transformation, what staff need, the role of the Chief Digital Officer and the impact of digital transformation on jobs.
David Bentley, Managing Director at Cranford:
“As a contributing author to both VeriSM publications we have been seen the project grow from its early stages into a fundamental strategy for managing across whole organisations.
It is evident that, as enterprises continue to evolve and react to a sea of change, flexibility is key.
This need to be agile runs through every part of their infrastructure from their approaches and frameworks through to their resourcing model. The vast speed of cloud adoption, emerging technologies and digital initiatives demand we all work in a way that is far removed from the past.
The management mesh of VeriSM provides guard rails so that organisational governance is respected whilst allowing for individuals to work freely. This is reflective of the modern self managing workforce. It is how we operate and a new reality for many of the clients we work with.
We are pleased to partner with the IFDC on VeriSM and look forward to working with them both now and in the future.”
Sigrid Jansen, Manager IFDC:
“Successful digital transformation is not only reliant upon technology; it is also necessary to have the right people in place at the right time, with the right competences to be able to meet the demands of the digital age. A strong recruitment partner like Cranford Group can support organizations in finding professionals with the necessary skills and experience of executing digital transformation initiatives. The link with VeriSM™ is a very logical one, as the VeriSM™ approach provides professionals with knowledge and skills to manage and deliver services in the digital age.
We are delighted to welcome the Cranford Group as an IFDC partner. Their strong position as a resource specialist will help in matching VeriSM skills and knowledge to the organizations most in need of these skills.”
